General conditions Mont-Habitant: Tennis & Beach 2023

Tennis

Schedule: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

1 The member must have his membership card with him to enter the site.

2 The member is responsible for his guests at all times.

3 Starting at 9 a.m. reservations can be made 2 days in advance for a 1-hour block for singles as well as for doubles for a 2-hour block. Two (2) names are required for singles reservations and three (3) names are required for double reservations. For reservations: 514 917-0242

4 Tennis attire and shoes for clay courts are mandatory.

5 Opening and closing hours are subject to change.

6 Mont Habitant reserve their wright to modify tennis rules.

7 Memberships are non-reimbursable, non-transferable.

8 It is forbidden to smoke on site.

9 No physical or verbal abuse towards our customers or staff will be tolerated and may result in the withdrawal of your membership.

10 Tennis Buckets with many tennis balls not allowed on Tennis Courts.

Beach

Schedule: 10:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. (Swimming zone under supervision)

Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied at all times by someone aged 16 or over.

Children aged 8 and under must be within arm's reach of a person aged 16 and over at all times in the swimming area, according to the following ratio: 0 to 24 months 1 adult / 1 child, 25 months to 8 years 1 adult / 3 children.

Mandatory :

- All swimmers and accompanying adults must wear a bathing suit, i.e. a garment that can be used for swimming only and that allows you to swim freely (swimsuit diaper mandatory for babies).

- Users must respect the boundaries of the bathing areas.

- At the sound of the whistle, you must follow the staff's instructions.

- Respect the rules for accompanying and supervising young children.

- Check the water depth and choose a section of the Beach suited to your skills.

Forbidden :

- Il est interdit de prendre des photos ou des vidéos des utilisateurs de la plage.

- It's forbidden to jump headfirst, climb onto another person's shoulders and/or push another bather.

- Smoking and vaping are prohibited within nine (9) metres of the Beach entrances. It is also forbidden to use cannabis within the aforementioned radius or any other prohibited area.

- It is forbidden to use a personal loudspeaker to play music.

- It is forbidden to bring alcoholic beverages onto the beach.

- Glass containers are prohibited (plastic bottles are permitted).

- It is forbidden to bring pets, including those on a leash.

- The use of barbecues or other cooking appliances on the site is prohibited.

- It is forbidden to feed the animals.

- Canoeing and fishing are prohibited in the Beach area.

The managers of the aquatic facility have full authority and reserve the right to sanction and expel any person who violates any of the rules listed below or who interferes with the activities, the safety of other bathers or shows a lack of respect, civility or politeness.

Mont Habitant Tennis & Beach is not responsible for lost or stolen items.

IN CASE OF EMERGENCY

A long blast on the whistle indicates an emergency; if this signal is heard, all bathers must stop and follow the instructions.

Lifeguards and beach managers must be automatically informed of any accident or incident.

Open water swimming rules

Mandatory :

- Open water swimming is reserved for people aged 18 and over.

- Swimmers must be equipped with their own open water buoy.

- A lifeguard must be on duty before accessing open water swimming.

- Any incident resulting in damage to property or personal injury must be reported to the Tennis et Plage du Mont Habitant staff, who will take appropriate action.

- You must be accompanied at all times.

- Be able to swim 300 meters and be comfortable in deep water.

Watercraft regulations

- A personal flotation device must be worn at all times when in the watercraft.

- Watercraft are prohibited inside the bathing area.

- It is forbidden to throw garbage into the water.

- It is forbidden to have alcohol in the boats, and access will be refused to anyone who is impaired.

Rules for access to paddleboard watercraft

On arrival :

- Present yourself to the cashier at the Clubhouse window to purchase your daily ticket.

- Before entering the water, your boat must be cleaned.

- All other types of craft are prohibited.

During your activity :

- A personal flotation device must be worn at all times when in the watercraft.

- Watercraft are prohibited inside the Plage bathing area.

- It is forbidden to throw garbage into the water.

- It is forbidden to have alcohol in the boats, and access will be refused to anyone who is impaired.
